Today, like most days, was filled with wonderful things. One was that the UK Embassy put up Christmas lights. This makes me happy because it’s still in the 70s during the day and I’m feel like I’m missing out on November the way I used to know it. God knows there won’t be snow here any time soon.

Egypt doesn’t qualify for the 2010 World Cup. Sadly they lost 1-0 to Algeria tonight and all the buzz here quickly died down. It still makes me excited for next summer though. EGYPT DEFEATS ALGERIA (2-0)
The Egyptian National team just narrowly stayed in contention for the 2010 World Cup by defeating Algeria by a margin of 2 goals. Prior to this incredibly important match the Algerian team had a 2 goal lead over Egypt in the qualifying rounds. CCR FILM REVIEW
I saw INGLORIOUS BASTERDS recently and totally enjoyed it. It seems like films from the states show up here a bit later/stay in theaters for a longer time so I get to see them even though I missed them when they came out this summer. So this was lucky for me and I wanted to see Tarantinos new movies since last spring. When I finally did I was not disappointed.

Happy Friday the 13th. I have had excellent luck today. With the help of Dan Morris and also daapspace.daap.uc.edu, I was able to get a copy of one of my all time favorite movies, the Darjeeling Limited. This of course followed my success yesterday installing Ableton Live 6.0.1 on my new and ever so small computer. Needless to say, when I watch my new copy of this great movie I will follow it up...
